Illustrations for Packaging Research

Noma Bar - Fanta Halloween

  • I liked the look of these as a set of products, the matching vector visual qualities works well.
  • I like how she has interpreted the different fruit into the designs, its a clever way of linking them to the flavours.

Nate William - Rio Coffee

  • I like this range of product designs, I like how the drawing covers the entire box, and then has all the information text within a separate square on the back.
  • I like how the illustrations talk about the different countries that the coffee is made. It uses appropriate images and colour pallets to communicate the different characteristics of the countries.
  • I like how it is a single landscape that runs round each side of the box, the full colour busy illustration gives the product a vibrant and energetic feel.

Brandiziac - Wine Bottle Designs

  • I thought the concept for this packaging design was really effective, it is a simple idea but it works well.
  • The wines are from New Zealand, Chile and South Africa, the designs take traditional mask from cultures within each of the countries and then re design and 'stylize' them appropriately for the branding.
