- I sent them over some ideas of how I could apply actions and movements to parts of the design.
- I wanted to use cut out parts of the design and animate them in a looping gif style animation.
- I cut out the pieces I wanted to move on photoshop and then recreated the background behind it, I had all my different movable objects on different layers so that I could easily transfer them over to After Effects.
- I had to overcome a number of different problems in after effects as I am still new to using it, in my first attempt the file sizes where totally messed up and I didn't realise I needed to make the animation a specific size in order to be published on the website.
- The crafting of the movements was complex and I had a nightmare with getting the angles and proportions of the canoe coming down the river. Making the fish jump out of the water was really difficult but eventually I made it work.
- I applied sound effects to the animation and some subtle background noises of the outdoors to fit with the theme. I didn't want to go to crazy with the sound just enough to bring the scene to life and put some emphasis on the actions happening within the scene.
