- I don't like how this looks inverted, It works better normally. There is too much black, but its spread out across the face with no open space to see the marble effect.
- This design could work well with the marble effect because of the shape on the back of the head. It is a open space too see the paint splats. I just think that again there is to much black in the face. The image is too dark.
- This design works best inverted, there is a good balance of white and black. Initially I thought there wouldn't be a good amount of space for the splat effect, but it worked well being separated by a bit of line work.
Paper experiments:
T Shirts...
Colour smudge variations...
- I used the same technique as the on the last Ts and splatted neon colours into black, but used orange and yellow instead.
- To speed up the process I safety pinned the T shirts around card board, to save me from having to pin all the T shirts to the table. I could then prepare the Ts at home and then bring them in ready to print straight away. And also made heat pressing them with the iron much easier.
- I had managed to get the splats a lot more consistent on these because I was getting used to the process. The black also came out dark on them all.
- I also wanted include a badge/logo again, but thought i'd use a different mono print. Keeping them as a matching set, but with totally different designs.
Hoodie...
- I bought a cheap hoodie in Primark too have a go at printing on. I really like how it came out, i was intrigued too see how the marble effect worked on grey, and the colours came out okay.
