Visual Narrative - Tell an untold story - Film Photographs
Film Photographs:
- I got 36 photographs from my film camera developed. There was lots of good shots but here are my favourites.
- Whilst looking back at all the photos I decided to do some more drawings from them, and experiment with some new media and colours.
- I used a few sizes of black fine liner and pencil to get some varied line quality.
- I used a metal flat nib ink pen to apply colour.
- I really liked the composition of this photo. I like how it trailed of into the distance. The shapes and lines in the track are interesting. Could this be interpreted into my story?
- The green metal ink pen creates a really interesting un even texture. This adds the derelict and decaying appearance.
- I used an ink brush pen to get some of the textures on the ground and for the trees. This is suitable for these because it produces rough and scratchy lines, that are also dark and bold.
- There is a lot of black in this image, I feel it is to heavy and over powers the whole thing. It takes the depth away making it appear flat. I feel like a wider perspective makes you fell more involved within the landscape.
