Visual Journalist - Abondoned places:
For my research I wanted to go out and experience something or find an interesting place. I decided to go on a walk down this river and see what I could find. The side of the river covered in graffiti. It looks cool and could make a good scene for a narrative.
I went into this abandoned building to see if there was anything interesting inside.
The light reflecting down this corridor looks mysterious and erie.
Inside the building was unusual and had lots of random weird objects lying around, it had an empty forgotten atmosphere which could be an interesting setting for my project, but I was struggling to find an exciting starting point for the narrative.
I was pleased with this photo, I like the atmosphere captured.
I found another abandoned place. There was no way to get inside this one. I like this wide shot photograph it creates an interesting scene and perspective.
I took a photo of these old pieces of wood. I don't know why, I was drawn to them at the time. I was struggling to find a good starting point for project, I wanted to find a more interesting place to go that I could engage with.
