I was asked to paint the interior of a bar called The Libertine, he wanted me too fill the wall space with my tribal character designs. He wanted it too be vibrant and colourful and too liven up the atmosphere in the bar.
I showed him some pictures of my previous work and he liked the look of things using primary colours, it work best for the vibrancy he wanted to achieve on the walls. So I sorted out spray paint in these colours, making sure I kept the receipts for the material bill at the end.

Here are the final rough sketches I produced to figure out how how I would compose the characters to fill the walls, I sent these over to him a week or two before I would be painting, to make sure he was happy with the composition and overall appearance of the design. Although this is only a rough idea and is hard to imagine with full colour, its a good way to make sure the client is happy with the design and give them a chance to make any changes to it if they wanted.
